Little TheraPeas is a neurodiverse affirming Sunshine Coast paediatric therapy clinic offering Occupational Therapy (OT) and Therapy Assistant services delivered from our Aura, Baringa clinic. We have a telehealth clinic for rural or remote Australians and those who are unable to attend in clinic. We also offer off site (home, school and kindy) visits when needed. Our passion is to help little peas and their families reach independence and success throughout their lives. Our focus is to build a supportive, fun and friendly environment which emphasises building a positive relationship with each little pea and their families. This helps get the most out of therapy to achieve each little pea’s goals and make a difference to their life and in turn the families life. We also have therapy assistants who run therapist directed programs and groups that provide value for money options for family support and to achieve goals sooner.

INDIVIDUAL SUPPORTS
Working with your child one on one allows us to focus intensively on development of skills that will help your child/teen achieve their goals. We work individually across a variety of settings.

GROUP PROGRAMS OF SUPPORT
Our rich and varied group programs of support offer supportive social settings for your child/teen to make connections, develop skills and problem solve challenges. Our programs are constantly evolving and offer something for everyone!

SPECIALIST SERVICES
We have the ability to customise support to provide intensive, innovative and unique programs and support for your child. Our specialist support options are as unique as your child and family!

WORKSHOPS
Our workshops allow you to take some time out to learn and develop skills so you can best meet your child's needs. Held throughout the year on a variety of topics, some are offered as online self-paced formats.
Occupational Therapists (OTs) work across all ages and stages of life to help people achieve independence, maintain function and perform meaningful ‘occupations’ (a word OTs use for everyday tasks and activities).
At Little TheraPeas our OTs work with children and their families to help them meet their developmental milestones, increase independence and live life with joie de vivre.
A Therapy Assistant can support your child to practice the skills they learn in therapy and apply these throughout their daily life, whether at home, school or out in the community. All of our Therapy Assistants work in collaboration with a qualified therapist to implement a tailored treatment plan to support your child to work towards their unique goals.

Reading
One of the most important aspects of being a therapist is reading. Reading books, reading journal articles, reading blog posts, reading websites and research links and anything else we can get our hands on to help support our knowledge and clinical reasoning. Our work doesn’t stop when you leave the clinic, in fact, that’s where our job really only begins.
